      What an amazing workshop! You are such an incredible and gifted instructor. Before taking the class, I thought that I would never be able to paint (painting in my mind was only for creative, gifted people), but now I feel I can paint (and hopefully someday be happy with my paintings).          I greatly appreciate all the thought and planning that went into constructing such an empowering workshop. Your compassionate gentle teachings were a delight to watch…and the variety and pacing of “art-play” activities was perfect. You always mixed intense detail work with playful splatterings of color work. I really had fun & felt like I was playing most of the time. This is the first time in a long time I’ve been so totally absorbed in something fun- that I lost track of time!
            My issue is that sometimes I get drawn  into the competitive spirit & get frustrated that my work is so basic…But I keep reminding myself – that I came to play with colors and that I did-and learned so much doing it!

        This class was wonderful. In two days we were doing what it took to accomplish in a semester in watercolor class. At the end of 5 days we had as much information as we had in a year of watercolor class.
