on Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain
| Excellent pacing.
Unusually sensitive to individual needs. Flexible to the mad. Fun.
Thoughtful consideration about the use of Betty Edward's book plus your
own teaching style. Joan, Artist |
I learned so
much from your class! I have tried doing Drawing on the Right Side
of the Brain many times over the years- but never really been able to
"get it" until now... Amy, Psychotherapist |
It was
wonderful- so much information to take in, but I felt I made dramatic
leaps forward in shutting down the left brain...The best part of all your
workshops is how safe you make me feel and you can quote me on that! Elizabeth, Writer |

Excellent!
I finally understand measuring for perspective and angles...

Drawing has always been my nemesis, and this week has opened a huge door for me. I know my painting will also improve with my new perspective skills and negative space awareness. Thank you for another wonderful art experience...your enthusiasm and generous sharing of knowledge rekindles (or Kindles) our right brains. Thank you. Jan |
I had conflicted expectations for this
class. I believed that I would be able to learn but I was also quite
fearful. I am thankful, as always, for your extraordinary support, your
spirit-infused instruction & your wonderful, hilarious sense of
humor...

It
was most enjoyable as well as educational!...Though I've been drawing for
most of my 70 years, it has never all come together before...Not only are
you, Ann a great teacher- you're also very supportive...

Taking this course for the 2nd time was very useful. I hadn't practiced after the course a few years ago and although some concepts were familiar the method of your instruction was better for me: more pragmatic, not so rigid, including feedback & suggestions from the group...Excellent instruction- with personality & heart! I loved it! I had gone through most of the book previously, so all the concepts were familiar, and it was great to practice-practice-practice and to see my progress and to have it "click" in a different way...Also loved your syntheses if Right-Left brain stuff and how ti operates in us and in the culture...I'm really happy with all I accomplished. Thanks for all the help- I so appreciate your patience and compassion. Laurel, Acupuncturist |

This class was challenging but very rewarding. Most importantly,
you made it a very "safe" environment for me to tackle a subject
that has always terrified me-even after reading the book...

I
love the way you teach. Approachable, non-threatening, sequential as far
as "hot-to", then empowerment for us all...
Joan |
It was a
very good experience. I felt I learned so much-- that I am capable of more
than I expected. My eye sees things heretofore unnoticed...Above all, your
patient instruction wand understanding made it really fun. Katherine, Retired Teacher |

I'm really
happy that I finally took your drawing course. One of my excuses for not
painting as often is that I want/need to be able to draw/see better...Now,
when something isn't quite right, I can figure it out or work past it.
Thanks! Marsha |
My experience in Ann's Drawing Course was a positive one! Only two sessions totally changed the way I went about drawing. It changed the way I saw what I wanted to draw. The course resulted in drawings that had life coursing through them, rather than amateurish scrawls. Hurrah Ann!! By George you've done it! Burt, Creative Advertising Director |
