It is the best
instruction, workshop or class that I have had. Carolyn As always, an experience in Ann's class is a joy! It's a safe environment to explore and play- and learn while you're doing it! Ann is a wonderful painter and a gifted teacher.

...Absolutely fabulous
class... You are probably the best teacher I have had the honor of working
with- continually offering insight, support, guidance and letting the
process unfold for me at my own skill level and pace... Amy, Psychotherapist |
Thank you for the wonderful experience. Two years ago I tried to paint
in watercolors and gave up... I really appreciated the laid back approach
to the class and your positive attitude... The program brought art &
life together. Richard |

Ann, your grounded perspective on life and genuine optimism, combined with your loving, playful spirit transforms the art of watercolor into a new media. I have learned techniques for living that now are part of my creativity. Each time I put paint to paper I will think of you. Linda |
I loved
it! I didn't know how it would be to take the class again, and it
surpassed my expectations. I learned a ton of new things... It was good to
hear everything again and integrate more of it in practice. I'm completely
inspired. Laurel |
Thank
you once again! This is my third workshop and I look forward to more- I'd
love to just keep repeating the three workshops. I find at each one I
learn a little more and a little more... All the practical painting
information and your generous spirit have inspired and encouraged me once
again. Deb |

I can’t think of anything that would make this
workshop any better!! It’s been “The Best”! This is about my 6th
workshop and I learned more here than all of the rest put together! Your
hands-on method is so what painters need and appreciate. To watch someone
paint all morning and then try to do the same in the afternoon gets to be
very boring and you don’t learn much that way. THANK YOU! |
The class was terrific! I learned a lot! Thank you. You made things
very easy to understand and were so patient. Lots of excellent exercises-
so I am not afraid of landscape. I can try now to do trees,
buildings, grasses- the tonal exercises were so valuable- thank you again! |
As
a beginner with several classes behind me, I found the content to be just
right for me. The demos & exercises are very helpful. |

Thank you, Ann, for your attention and encouragement and especially
the gradual progression which led to the completion of a cycle and
beginning of another. You are a fantastic teacher and a lovely person.
Thank you for sharing and giving so generously. Ann
is a delight. So authentic & sharing. A beautiful way about her. Very
knowledgeable & an excellent teacher. She inspires. |
I
have tried to watercolor for the past 2 years and have had a few classes-
always leaving frustrated because I didn’t know how to get
from here to where it was at... You have shown us so much in this past
week that can just be fun little things to do as one masters the basics of
mixing paint, brushstrokes, how much water and when!! I can’t wait to go
home and do more…

I am a
beginner and was afraid I would feel intimidated when I saw all of the
talent in the class. But Ann made me feel at ease from the very first
day- I loved the fact that she does mini demos and then lets us go back
and do our own thing to see if we are grasping the idea. If we do not, she
takes extra pains in helping us one on one. I never realized how much the
left brain influences how we think. The class was fun and the group I was
with were amiable & friendly & Ann’s personality created this
aura. I would take another one of Ann’s classes any time I can. I look
forward to that. She is a talented artist and an excellent teacher. Geraldine, retired |

| Hard to
put into words the satisfaction, harmony, respectfulness, caring and
peaceful feelings your workshop evokes... not to mention all the
learning!! Carolyn |
I enjoyed the workshop. An opportunity to
paint and play for 5 days is something that everyone should experience. The
environment is good for the novice as well as the experienced painter. This
is my second class and I felt very comfortable both times. Kimberly, Attorney |
I
loved this workshop! I was a little apprehensive about taking landscape
since it entailed so many different parts of a composition. However, I
appreciated the way you broke it up into sections and we practiced each
technique... Thanks for a lovely (and FUN) experience!! Ann, Executive Assistant |

I've always been drawn to watercolor landscapes. Now I have developed the tools and techniques through this class to create my own landscapes...This is fantastic! I've had so much fun, learned so much so quickly, it's unbelievable... Margaret |
...Lots of jumbled lessons from several years of instruction & reading
sorted themselves out... For years I've looked at favorite photos & said
to myself, "Someday I want to paint this." Someday is here... Joan, retired Children's Therapist

This
experience renewed my joy in being alive. When I'm painting with Ann I
always feel anything is possible- even weeks & months afterwards I
continue the creative spirit experience. Maxine, Psychotherapist |

Fantastic, as always- Thank you, Ann. There's tremendous power in
the freedom you encourage in us to express who we are, not who
someone else is. The result is that we see the possibilities in our work
that we've never seen before. Also, the constant reminder to us to play
and experiment and practice only is truly liberating. I'm much
happier with everything I do. The best teaching approach possible. Joanne, Chinese Medicine |
The non-judgmental attitude of the course is so freeing. There is
nothing else like letting old baggage go! Then the doors and windows are
flung open and one can take a deep, beautiful breath and begin again.
Knowing that one can always start over, that it's never too late is so exhilarating. Thank you for this gift. Linda, Elementary Art Teacher

The class
was wonderful. Ann, you have the ability to reach each student and
allow them to learn the watercolor technique in their own individual manner.
That is a rare gift. You seem to see our soul needs and allow the deepest
part of ourselves to express and learn... Elizabeth, Reverend |

The experience was heartfelt. It allowed me
the safe haven to play & to experience the sheer joy of that; free of
expectations. The workshop helped me to "soften the edges," to really
look at things & to see those things I didn't know were there. Thank you so much for that gift, Ann. Lynn, RN |
I love having classes
with Ann. You get a lot more than just learning how to paint which she is
excellent at. She can teach a class with beginners & advanced students
very easily. She is a very natural, humble woman willing to share all her knowledge with you. I also like the way she shares her process with us- so revealing- so healing. A true gift. My little artist is happy! Janice, Yoga Teacher |
I enjoyed the class very much, good mix of structure & freedom. The exercises were useful, and I liked the playful atmosphere. Edith, Scientist |

| I thoroughly enjoyed my days here. Thank you for the encouragement. Your enthusiasm and spirituality are so helpful for someone like me who was afraid to put paint on paper. Your class is like a fine tuned machine! Pam |
Thorough,
relaxed, friendly & supportive. Overwhelming at first, then it all comes
together. Helen |
You
are a wonderful teacher, Ann, and give 200% to each of us. I loved being
part of the group and hope to come again. Thank you so much! Sharlie |
